Support

For anything you cannot find an answer to: admin@fstracker.app

We can help faster if you include the email address on your account, the simulator version you use (MSFS 2020 or 2024) and roughly when the problem happened.

Setup and signing in

What do I need for the Windows app to work?

64-bit Windows and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024. The app talks to the simulator over SimConnect, so no extra add-on is needed. You can start the simulator before or after the app.

I signed up with Apple or Google. How do I sign in on Windows?

Those accounts have no password. In the iOS app open Account → Connect desktop; it shows a code valid for five minutes. In the Windows app click “Connect with the code from your phone” and type it in. Letter case and dashes do not matter.

I lost or sold my PC. How do I cut off its access?

In the iOS app open Account → Connected computers, swipe left on that computer and tap “Revoke access”. It will not be able to send flights again.

Flight recording

Recording does not start.

Check that the Windows app is connected to the server (the status bar shows “Connected”) and that the simulator has been detected. Recording begins when an engine starts or the aircraft moves faster than 5 knots. Nothing is sent while the simulator is paused or in slew mode.

The flight shows as “no takeoff”.

If the aircraft never became airborne during the recording — for example you only taxied — the flight is not counted as completed and is left out of your statistics.

The departure or arrival airport is empty.

The airport is taken from the nearest one within 5 nautical miles of the first and last point of the track. If you started the flight in the air or away from an airport, this field can stay empty.

The landing figure is not what I expected.

FS Tracker samples vertical speed ten times a second just before touchdown and reports that. Telemetry read only once a second sometimes misses the flare; if the app shows the note “estimated from telemetry”, the high-rate measurement did not arrive.

Live tracking

My flight does not appear on the live screen.

Live tracking requires a subscription. If yours is active, make sure Account → Live sharing is on; with it off your flight is not broadcast. If you switched it on mid-flight, the Windows app may need to reconnect before the broadcast starts.

The aircraft moves for a while on the map, then stops.

The app fills gaps of a few seconds by estimating. If no data arrives for more than 10 seconds the aircraft turns grey and waits. This usually means the PC lost its internet connection or the simulator was paused.

Subscription and account

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store: on iPhone go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or use Account → Manage subscription in the app. After cancelling, the subscription stays active until the end of the period.

I purchased but the app still shows sample data.

It can take a few seconds for the payment to reach the server. Wait a moment and reopen the app. If it persists, tap Account → Restore purchases; if that does not help either, write to us.

How do I delete my account and data?

Send an email titled “Account deletion request” to admin@fstracker.app from the address registered to your account. Your account and all flight data are deleted within 30 days at the latest. Remember to cancel any active subscription separately through the App Store.
