Privacy Policy — Saga

This Privacy Policy explains how Coddykit ("we", "us") handles your information in the Saga mobile app ("the App"). By using Saga you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Saga does not require an account or sign-in. You use the App as a guest, and your library, reading progress, coins, unlocks, and settings are stored locally on your device — we do not collect or upload them.

Purchases. When you buy coins, the purchase is processed by Apple and recorded by our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive purchase records (what was bought and when). We never receive your card or payment details.

Usage & diagnostics. We use Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) to understand how the App is used and to detect crashes. This includes app interactions, device type and OS, an app-instance identifier, and crash/performance data. We do not collect this to track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, health data, or browsing history.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the App (your library, reading progress, coins, unlocks — kept on your device)
• To deliver the book catalog and chapter content
• To process purchases and grant coins
• To analyze usage and fix crashes so we can improve the App

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the App:

• Supabase — hosts the App's book catalog and chapter content (hosting/database)
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) — usage analytics and crash reporting
• RevenueCat + Apple — in-app purchases

Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Data retention

Your library and reading data live on your device and are removed when you delete the App. Usage and crash data are retained per our providers' standard retention windows.

Your rights & choices

• Your on-device data: clear it at any time by deleting the App from your device.

Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have additional rights to access, port, or erase your data; contact us to exercise them.

Children

Saga is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. Some content is intended for mature audiences.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including where our providers operate. We rely on their safeguards for such transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes will be surfaced in the App or via the store listing.
